AAIPharma to receive $500K to expand locally

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington City Council approved a $225,000 grant for AAIPharma to expand locally in Wilmington Tuesday night.

This comes after the New Hanover County Commission approved a $275,00 grant at their meeting Monday night. That brings the total amount to $500,000.

The company says it will bring 50 jobs to the Port City with an average salary of $77,000.
