U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew heading to North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, NC (AP) — U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew heading to Charlotte to show the Obama administration’s commitment to manufacturing.

Lew will tour a Corning facility that makes optical fiber on Wednesday.

He will also be part of a roundtable held by Charlotte’s mayor to discuss currency redesigns.

He will also meet with other local leaders.
