Trees sent from Maine to troops in NC
NEWBURGH, ME (WVII) — Piper Mountain farm is getting into the holiday spirit early this year, by working with the National Christmas Tree Organization to donate Christmas trees to our nation’s heroes.
While you’re picking up your Christmas tree for the holiday season, military families will also be picking up their trees from Maine, in Cherry Point, North Carolina.
Trees for Troops is a national program sponsored by Fed-Ex and the National Christmas Tree Organization, giving military families trees for their home away from home.
