The story behind the ‘gleeful’ conductor viral video

NEW HAVEN, CT (WTNH) — The video of a caroling Metro-North rail car has gone off the tracks, soaring to viral status. It shows a train conductor becoming a music conductor for the Yale Glee Club.

“It’s all been positive. So, it’s nice to hear,” said Clinton’s Metro-North train conductor McDonough.

The 80 person choir took the train to New York City for a performance. McDonough spotted them and gave them a private car.
