Fire at Hollybucks shuts down Lanvale Road

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A fire at an animal feed store in Leland has shut down Lanvale Road as crews respond to the scene.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, the road was closed at around 2pm near Hollybucks.

According to the Town of Leland, the fire started in the back warehouse around 1:30 pm. It was under control by 2:10 pm.

Crews are diverting traffic at Lanvale and Grandiflora Drive and at Lanvale and Old Fayetteville Road.

No one got hurt.

The road is expected to remain closed until around 3:15 pm.

Crews are still working to determine a cause.
