Undefeated ACC Champion Florida State left out

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – Don’t let the committee tell you that the games matter the most.

Sunday, the College Football Playoff committee selected the four teams that will compete for the National Championship.

Florida State became the first unbeaten team in the Power Five left out of the semifinals. The Seminoles were hurt by the loss of quarterback Jordan Travis with a season-ending injury.
