McDonald’s to start testing all-you-can-eat fries

(CNN) — McDonald’s is about to test a new-fangled business model in St. Joseph, Missouri with an eyebrow-raising feature: all-you-can-eat fries.

Customers will be able to place their order at a kiosk to speed up service, and orders will be brought to a customer’s table. Franchise owner Chris Habiger said they’ll offer hundreds of customizable burger and dessert choices.

The new kiosk system means this Mcdonald’s won’t need as many cashiers, but Habiger said he plans to hire 85 people at the new location.

The franchise is set to open in July.
