‘Dissapointing’: UNCW women’s basketball team drops conference home opener to Northeastern

Seahawks were outscored 56-16 in the paint throughout the game

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – With seven active players in the lineup Friday, the Seahawks hoped to continue building off positive momentum from Sunday. Even though the Seahawks fell at Stony Brook, Coach Nicole Woods was pleased with their execution and effort. Not tonight.

The Seahawks are back in Trask Sunday. They play Drexel at noon.
