UNCW surpasses major campaign goal, having raised more than $128 million since 2015

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW is celebrating after surpassing a huge goal in its “like no other” campaign.

The University has now raised more than $128 million from more than 35,000 donors.

The campaign began in 2015, with the money being raised by a combination of 72,000 gifts from alumni and $5 million from UNCW employees

The University says it intends to use the money to invest in facilities, services and programs that will enhance opportunities for the students, including scholarships.
