Joe Perry in emergency room after reportedly collapsing

Joe Perry was in the emergency room at a New York hospital Sunday night after reportedly walking offstage during a performance and collapsing.

Perry, the 65-year-old Aerosmith guitarist, was performing with his band the Hollywood Vampires at the Coney Island Amphitheater. Witnesses told ABC station WABC-TV in New York that he walked offstage shortly into the performance and then collapsed.

He was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where he was in the emergency room, a hospital spokesperson told ABC News. No further information was available about Perry’s condition, the spokesperson said.
