National Signing Day: Laney

Seven Buccaneers student-athletes committed to their schools Wednesday

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – JaQuan Bowen, Jaylin McZeke, Kaidyn Robinson, Michael Williams and Steven Stokes from the Laney football team headlined NSD when they signed their letters of intent Wednesday morning in the Scorpion’s gym in front of family, friends and teammates.

Bowen is signed to Wingate. McZeke and Robinson are going to Louisburg. Williams chose Guilford. Stokes heads to NC State.

There were two non-football signees in Mackenzie Curry and Daniel Kelmer.

Curry will play softball at Chowan and Kelmer will run track at UNC Charlotte.
