Trial tentatively set for Marsh Oaks Dr. hit-and-run
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Prosecutors set a tentative trial date for a Wilmington man facing charges tied to a hit-and-run that left four people injured last October.
Highway Patrol arrested Aaron Blake Williams, 23, in October 2015 on a felony charge of hit and run causing serious injury and reckless driving.
In court today, attorney Ryan Ames represented Williams. Prosecutors said the case was being continued and said they had set a tentative trial date for Nov. 7.
Around 2 a.m. on Oct. 10, a woman and three men were walking on Marsh Oaks Drive when they were hit by a SUV. New Hanover High School lacrosse coach Keith Hatcher, former head football coach Frank Meehan, his wife Maureen and Jeffrey West were hit.
