SkyWatch Bird Rescue seeking bug donations

CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) — SkyWatch Bird Rescue is seeking bug donations from the community to help feed birds in their care.

They are currently in need of live and dried insects for a Mississippi Kite named Jupiter and her friends.

Jupiter enjoys mealworms, superworms, waxworms, and Dubia roaches, according to the group.

You can drop off bug donations anytime at 3600 Lynn Ave. in Castle Hayne.
