UNCW softball mercies A&T to open weekend series

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WWAY) – UNCW won 10-1 over CAA opponent North Carolina A&T Friday. The Seahawks improve to 22-15 and 12-4 in the conference

Emily Winstead shined in her 10th win of the season, giving up one earned run on seven strikeouts in five innings.

Skylar Stockton and Tayler Vitola combined for seven hits and six RBI’s. Vitola’s on-base streak is now at eight games.
