Aquarium at Fort Fisher showcasing ocean-inspired art this month
FORT FISHER, NC (WWAY)– The North Carolina Aquariums at Fort Fisher is showcasing children’s artwork curated from “This is My Mexico 2023” through April 28.
“This is My Mexico” is ocean-inspired art exhibitions at aquariums drawn by children.
The NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher is showcasing 20 pieces of the ocean-inspired art.
These drawings were selected from the 2022 and 2023 “This is My Mexico” Children’s Drawing Contest hosted by the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, The Institute for Mexicans Abroad, and the Consulate General of Mexico in Raleigh.
To view the art, you can simply visit the aquarium, but tickets must be purchased online in advance.
