Welcome Home Angel transforms bedroom for child with autism
Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — Welcome Home Angel partnered with Cape Fear Community College’s interior design program to transform a bedroom and playroom for a young boy.
Kenley Currie, 5, has been diagnosed with autism.
Kenley’s mom Brittany said she wanted to make this happen for Kenley for so long, but she could not afford it herself.
“This opportunity is great and I’m glad that Kenley has his own little safe space for his sensory needs,” Brittany Currie said.
The CFCC students designed the space as a part of their senior capstone course.
