Birthday boy with brain cancer hoping for lots of cards
NEENAH, WI (WBAY) — A Wisconsin toddler diagnosed with brain cancer before he turned one is defying the odds. And, with this third birthday approaching this weekend, his family is hoping to celebrate him in a big way.
Finley Volkman is like every other two-year-old. He likes to dance, play with his big sister and eat popcorn. But it’s what you can’t see that makes him different.
According to Finley’s mom, Stacy Volkman, “Finley was diagnosed in July of 2014, when he was eight months old, with a very rare form of brain cancer.”
