Winter wonderland appears in downtown Wilmington during ‘MERV’ filming

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Christmas came early in downtown Wilmington on Thursday.

Portions of Princess Street were covered in a blanket of snow for filming of scenes for ‘MERV’.

There were also Christmas trees and a large, inflatable snowman.

The Zooey Deschanel movie has been filming in Kure Beach throughout the last month.
