Jonathan Cooper waived from Cleveland Browns

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Hoggard High School football standout who made it to the NFL was released from his current contract.

The Cleveland Browns have waived offensive lineman and Wilmington native Jonathan Cooper.

Cooper joined the Browns via waivers from New England prior to week 6. He appeared in five games with the Browns and started the past three games at right guard.
