C.B. McGrath signs first player to team

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — After all of the incoming UNCW basketball players opted out of their scholarships following the departure of Kevin Keatts, Coach C.B. McGrath signed his first player to the Seahawks today, Jay Estime.
The senior from Lilburn, GA announced the decision to join the team in teal today on his Twitter account. He is a small forward from Berkmar High School.
In his statement on Twitter he said quote: “I would like to thank my high school and AAU coaches, as well as my parents for all the time, effort and love they’ve put into the bettering of my game and the development of me becoming a young man. With all that being said, I’m excited to announce my committment to the University of North Carolina Wilmington.”
