Resurfacing project begins along Greenfield Lake trail

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Crews have begun a resurfacing project along a large section of the trail at Greenfield Lake.

The work kicked off Tuesday afternoon near Carolina Beach Road and will proceed counterclockwise around the lake in the coming days.

During the work, park visitors should anticipate detours around the trail areas under construction.

Crews expect the work to be complete in 7 to 10 days.
