Deputies: Whiteville man found with heroin, cocaine, gun, and cash
WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — A Whiteville man is in jail after a probation officer said he found multiple drugs at his house.
38-year-old Curtis L. Hollingsworth was arrested Friday, September 15. Once the probation officer saw what was in his possession, they requested the assistance of Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Vice-Narcotics Unit.
The Vice-Narcotics Detectives did a search and found 40 slips of heroin and approximately 3 additional grams of heroin. Detectives also located approximately 30 grams of cocaine in powder and rock form, approximately 100 grams of marijuana, a revolver firearm, and drug paraphernalia, including scales, razor blades, and small plastic bags. More than $1800 cash was also seized.
Hollingsworth is being held in the Columbus County Law Enforcement Center under a $485,000 secured bond.

1 felony count of Trafficking Cocaine
1 felony count of Possession of Firearm by Felon
1 felony count of Trafficking Opium or Heroin
1 misdemeanor count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
1 felony count of Possession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana
1 felony count of Maintaining Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Use, Sale, or Storage of CS
1 count of Probation Violation
