Ashley flag football team fundraising for state championship rings

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – The Ashley Athletic Department is looking for sponsors and donors to help them raise money so their flag football team’s 37 girls and 3 coaches can get state championship rings.

According to the football team’s Instagram page, sponsors will receive a banner, TV ad on top of concessions and game-day shoutouts.

The total goal for the fundraiser is $15,000.

Ashley won the inaugural North Carolina state championship this past weekend.
