UNCW film school grad finalist in Doritos Superbowl ad competition

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A UNCW grad is among the final three directors in a nationwide super bowl ad competition for Doritos.
UNCW film school alum Dylan Bradshaw along with co-director Nate Norell created one of three ads chosen for Doritos’ 25th Superbowl ad competition.
The winner’s ad will air to millions during the nation’s most watched sporting event and win $1 Million.
Bradshaw and Norell said they shot the ad titled “Abduction” with a crew of just 15 people in 12 hours.
They said when they found out they made the top three, they were ecstatic, hoping the opportunity will open doors for their film making careers.
“Lost our minds, screaming shouting in our cars,” Norell said.
“I was like ‘Nate, we made top three,’” Bradshaw added. “This is just like such an awesome opportunity for us. If we play our cards right and are just like genuine in our intentions and our hearts are in the right places, to really go so far with this.”
