Duplin County house fire kills two people

DUPLIN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Crews responded to a house fire that killed two people early Tuesday morning.

According to Duplin County Fire & Emergency Management, crews were notified of a residential structure fire on South Williams Road, near NC 24 Hwy, in Beulaville.

While putting out the fire, responders located two victims who were killed inside the house.

Officials say that the investigation is still ongoing about how the fire started.
