13th annual ‘Guns VS. Hoses’ set for March 1st
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The 12th annual Guns VS. Hoses charity hockey game is less than a month away. It’s a play on words because it’s a hockey game between local police officers and fire firefighters.
We spoke with engineer firefighter, Allen Lewis from Wilmington Fire Department, and Lieutenant Schwarz from Wilmington Police Department.
The game is set for 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, at Polar Ice Wilmington. That’s located at 7201 Ogden Business Lane.
Proceeds will benefit Kids Making It.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under. You can pick up tickets at the Wilmington Police Headquarters, Wilmington Fire Headquarters.
