WPD welcomes one new horse to mounted unit

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police Department introduces a new horse to the WPD Mounted Unit.

Wednesday afternoon, the new horse spent some time in downtown Wilmington saying hello to visitors and residents.

Currently, the horse does not have a name, and WPD wants the community’s help to name it.
