RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A teen who was fighting for her life following an intentionally set apartment fire on March 22 has died, City of Raleigh officials said today.

The fire, in a unit at the Regatta at Lake Lynn apartment complex on River Oak Turn, was reported just before 2 p.m. Thursday.

The firefighters crawled through a bedroom window and searched the bedroom and living room before finding the 16-year-old in a rear bathroom, according to the report.
