Port City FC women defeat North Carolina FC 5-1

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — The Port City FC women remain undefeated following a Wednesday home win 5-1 over North Carolina FC.

Not even five minutes in, Azumi Oka scored on a cross pass to open the scoring for the Gulls.

Just before halftime, Ellie Farrell picked up her own rebound and put it in the net to make it a 2-0 game at the break.

Oka and Farrell each scored two goals in the contest.
