VIDEO: Rare ‘firenado’ swirls in sky as firefighters battle blaze

(CNN) — The Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service Ashby Station in England took to Facebook to share video of a “firenado” that formed while they were battling a fire.

Firefighters described it in a now-viral post as “a fire whirl…created as cool air enters the top of the hot air causing a swirl similar to how a tornado is formed.”
