Current road closures in Bladen County as of Noon Sept. 17, 2018

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Dozens of roadways are impassible or unsafe for drivers in Bladen County. This is a list of roads that county emergency officials ask drivers to stay away from for the time being.

• Travel is restricted from Bladen County to Columbus County at this time, which includes (Hwy 701, 410, and 131 through Bladenboro)
• Hallsboro Road
• Twisted Hickory Road Page Road
• NC 242 North of Elizabethtown
• NC 131 South of Tar Heel
• NC 211 East of Clarkton and East of Bladenboro
• US 701 North of Clarkton
• NC 53 at Pender County line
• Elwell Ferry Road
• NC 41 West at Robeson County line
• NC 87 at Columbus County, closed at Hwy 11
• Anyone living in the area East of 701, South of 87, and North of 211 in the Lisbon, Council area, please avoid travel. These areas are flooded across roadways.
• NC 211 Closed at Robeson County line
• Dr. Robinson Road (Carver’s Creek)
• Elkton Road
• Mears Road
• White Plains Church Road
• Rosindale Road
• Lyon Landing Road, just before Suggs Taylor Road
• Tarheel Road going South of Tar Heel
