Devontae Cacok named preseason Mid-Major All-American

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The 2017-2018 season was a record year for UNCW forward Devontae Cacok. The Riverdale, GA, native was the country’s leading rebounder bringing in 13.5 boards a night while chipping in 17.7 points a game during his junior season.

Those numbers earned him a preseason Mid-Major All-American nod heading into his senior campaign. Cacok will try to lead UNCW back to the top of the Colonial Athletic Association conference this season.

The Seahawks will kick off their 2018-2019 season on Nov. 2nd with an exhibition game against William Peace at Trask Coliseum with a 7 p.m. start time.
