Town of Ocean Isle Beach announces new beach safety systems
OCEAN ISLE BEACH, (WWAY) — The Town of Ocean Isle Beach announces the installment of their new beach safety signs and flag warming systems.
As part of their Beach Safety Program, these signs will provide daily flag warnings, flotation devices for assisting in a water rescue emergencies, and important directions about how to respond if you see someone in distress.
Signs are located at the following accesses:
- East Pier
- West Pier
- Dawson St.
- Goldsboro St.
- Greensboro St.
- Isles Resort
- Newport St.
- Ocean Point
- Shallotte Blvd.
- Shelby St.
- Starboard St.
