Body recovered after drowning reported at Lake Tabor

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — One person is dead following a reported drowning at Lake Tabor on Sunday.

According to Columbus County News, rescue crews located and recovered the body just before 6:00 p.m.

WWAY has reached out to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for additional information but has not yet received a response.
