Whiteville man arrested for allegedly selling drugs in multiple cities

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for allegedly selling drugs in multiple cities.

The sheriff’s office says they received multiple complaints about alleged drug sales around the Holiday Motel and surrounding areas in both Whiteville and Tabor city.

Tuesday, they arrested Tammy Tabor,65, at the hotel, allegedly with crack cocaine. Detectives also searched his home and allegedly found more cocaine, as well as packaging materials.

Tabor is charged with:

  • 3 Counts Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Controlled Substance (PWISD)
  • 3 Counts Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Use/Sale of Controlled Substances
  • Altering/Stealing/Destroying Criminal Evidence
  • Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Fraud/Forgery
  • Obtaining Property by False Pretenses
  • Conspiracy to Sell Cocaine
  • Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine
