Clarkton woman arrested on drug charges

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Clarkton woman was arrested on drug charges after multiple community complaints.
According the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, they have received complaints about narcotics being sold in the Clarkton area over the past 2 months.
An investigation began and a subject was quickly identified as Tanisha Lige, 44. During the investigation Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit was able to purchase narcotics from Lige.
On September 9th, deputies executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Lucy’s Drive. They found drugs during the search.
Lige was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and/or deliver schedule I controlled substance, maintain a dwelling for the keeping and selling of controlled substances, and possess drug paraphernalia.
Lige received a $25,000.00 secured bond.
