Topsail tops West Brunswick to open CCC tournament

HAMPSTEAD, N.C. (WWAY) — Monday marked the beginning of the Carolina Coast Conference volleyball tournament, where 2-seed Topsail swept West Brunswick to advance.

The set scores were 25-10, 25-20, 25-11.

Sarah Cutler led the Pirates with 12 kills while Valentina Bugnatto and Ava O’Reilly each had ten.

Topsail will host Laney on Tuesday in a semifinal matchup.
