Laney draws Hoggard 4-4 to end Vikings’ perfect run in CCC play

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — On a rainy field at Buccaneer Stadium, Laney earned a 4-4 draw against Hoggard on Monday.
The Vikings had entered the final week of the regular season perfect in Carolina Coast play.
After going down 1-0 early, Laney got a tap in goal from Bishop Babcock-Giles after the ball bounced off multiple defenders behind the goalkeeper.
The Bucs then took the lead with 39 seconds to go before halftime as the entire team went coast-to-coast, ending with a strike from Noah Tidey.
Both teams have one game remaining before the playoffs.
