Davies drops 26 as WCA tops CFA 51-46

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — One WCA player opened the boys basketball season strong as the Patriots defeated CFA 51-46 on Tuesday.

Trent Davies did most of WCA’s scoring, putting up 26 points on his home court. That included a three-pointer to beat the buzzer at the end of the 1st quarter. Behind him was Ryan McConekey with six.

Davies, McConekey and Parker Goodlow each grabbed six rebounds to tie for the most on the Patriots.
