Supply man arrested on attempted murder charge
SUPPLY, NC (WWAY) — A Supply man was arrested after allegedly firing a gun into a vehicle.
31-year-old Hunter Matthews is charged with attempted first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied property.
According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, this incident occurred around 1:30 Wednesday morning in the area of Lucian I. Fulford Road in Supply.
No injuries were reported.
Matthews is being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility with no bond.
According to the magistrate order, Matthews allegedly fired an unmarked shotgun into a red color Dodge Durango while someone was inside.
