Wilmington man accused of shooting at vehicles, and a Waffle House

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — A Wilmington man faces multiple charges after allegedly firing a gun at occupied vehicles and property on Carolina Beach Road on New Years Day.
Jacquae Taijhon Roland, 18, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 1, by Wilmington Police
According to court documents, Roland is charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury, felony discharging a weapon into occupied property, felony discharging a firearm to incite fear, three felony counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or moving vehicle, and misdemeanor discharging a firearm within city limits.
Court documents allege Roland discharged a firearm from inside a black Honda sedan, hitting 2448 Carolina Beach Road, which is the address for the Waffle House.
Roland also allegedly discharged a firearm into a Hyundai sedan, and an Infiniti sedan while the vehicles were occupied.
There is no information available concerning injuries at this time.
