Massive 1st quarter propels West Brunswick to 74-36 win over Topsail

SHALLOTTE, N.C. (WWAY) — After dropping their first three, the West Brunswick boys got their first Carolina Coast Conference win at home Tuesday over Topsail 74-36.

The Trojans had virtually every shot go their way en route to a 27-5 lead at the end of the 1st quarter.

“Pushing the ball, getting to the rim,” senior K’Veon Griffin said. “Been working on getting to the rim, playing on two feet and getting good shots. I’ve been with these guys since I was little. I know how they play. We got good chemistry together.”
