Portion of Market Street closed for water main repair

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A lane of Market Street will be temporarily closed on Wednesday as crews make an emergency water main repair.

The outer westbound lane of the 1100 block of Market Street closed at 9 a.m. and traffic was shifted to the inner westbound lane according to the CFPUA.

Turning and through traffic on North 12th Street will also be blocked, the 00 block of North 12th Street will be open to local traffic only.

The road is expected to be reopened around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
