Odell Williamson Bridge in Ocean Isle Beach closed as of 10pm

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Ocean Isle Beach has announced that the Odell Williamson Bridge is closed as of 10pm due to deteriorating road conditions.

Authorities are strongly encouraging residents and visitors to stay off the roads, saying safety, including the safety of first responders, is the top priority.

Police urged people to stay warm and enjoy the snowfall from the comfort of their homes.
