MLK Parkway expected to fully reopen by midday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway is expected to fully reopen around midday as crews continue addressing lingering winter weather impacts, according to the Wilmington Police Department.

Police say the main travel lanes are in good condition, but several off-ramps remain problematic. Crews will continue working on those ramps for the next few hours.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the area and to give road crews space and time to safely complete their work.
