Veterans Creative Arts Program announces Spring 2026 programs

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Veterans Creative Arts Program is providing access to creative arts programs for veterans, active military and first responders.

The program is designed especially for those experiencing effects of service-related trauma, such as PTSD and traumatic brain injury.

Free classes are available throughout Brunswick County.

In the classes, veterans will have the opportunity to express themselves through painting. You can also join the photography workshops for a different form of art or craft compelling stories through poems in the creative writing session.

There are several other classes including cooking, drawing, guitar lessons, theatre arts, paper art, painting pet portraits, and more.
