Moores Creek National Battlefield to hold naturalization ceremony

CURRIE, NC (WWAY) — The National Park Service is inviting the public to a naturalization ceremony at Moores Creek National Battlefield.

The ceremony will take place on Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. until noon in Patriots Hall.

Attendees can expect multiple guest speakers including Ben Sorensen, History Instructor and International Center Coordinator at Cape Fear Community College. USCIS Staff and Matthew Woods, the superintendent of Moores Creek National Battlefield.

Before and after the ceremony people can enjoy the “One-Day Wonder” Exhibit from the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources Divisions of Archives.

The naturalization ceremony at Moores Creek National Battlefield is in cooperation with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
