Wilmington man facing more than 60 felony charges after arrest in Florida

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man is in custody facing more than 60 felony charges following an investigation by the Wilmington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
Police say 38-year-old Michael Trey of Wilmington was recently arrested in Florida on a fugitive warrant.
According to investigators, Trey is charged with:
- 23 counts of felony secret peeping
- Eight counts of second-degree forcible sex offense
- Four counts of second-degree forcible rape
- 29 counts of disseminating images obtained from felony secret peeping
- Five counts of sexual battery
- Three counts of misdemeanor domestic violence protective order violation
Trey is currently being held without bond at the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
