UNCW’s Rori Cox named to third team All-CAA
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — UNCW Women’s Basketball player, Rori Cox, has been named to the third team All-CAA.
Cox, a graduate transfer from Virginia Union, played in 24 games this season for the Seahawks before having her season cut short by injury.
Cox was the 2025-2026 UNCW Women’s Basketball team leading scorer, averaging 15 points per game. She also led the team in rebounding at 6.4 rebounds per game.
Cox averaged 2.8 steals per game, leading the entire conference. She recorded nine steals in a game in November 2025 against Queens College.
Cox finished her season on a high note, scoring 10 or more points in 11 consecutive games. This includes 21 points against Drexel, 29 points against Campbell, and a career-high 33 points against N.C. A&T.
