Brunswick Master Gardeners to host spring plant sale

BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association will host its spring 2026 online plant sale from April 17–24, with plant pickup scheduled for May 1 at the Brunswick County Extension Office.
The sale features 78 offerings, including perennials (with several new varieties), annuals, herbs, fruiting trees, grasses, shrubs, vines, and flowering favorites such as purple coneflowers, milkweed, and black-eyed Susans. These plants not only enhance home landscapes but also provide essential food and habitat for pollinators and wildlife.
Gardeners can preview the plant list now online and start planning their selections. Each listing includes the botanical name, common name, and links to the NC State Extension Plant Toolbox, where gardeners can learn more about growing conditions and plant characteristics.
Ordering will open April 17, when customers can place orders online, pay by credit card, and schedule a pickup time on May 1.
Pick up is on Friday May 1st at the Brunswick County Extension Office, 25 Referendum Drive, greenhouse area behind Building N at the Government Complex in Bolivia. Master Gardener volunteers will be available to answer gardening questions and provide educational materials.
Proceeds from the sale support outreach and educational programs and the Brunswick County Botanical Gardens.
